Wizard Flow
Wizard Flow is the primary way to turn Flexsee predictions into live campaigns. It walks you from a connected Shopify store through audience selection, destination setup, and activation in one guided path.
When to use Wizard Flow
Use Wizard Flow when you want to:
- Launch Meta Ads audiences (retargeting or lookalike prospecting) and optionally publish the advert
- Send Klaviyo email campaigns with personalised product blocks
- Send Mailchimp Transactional (Mandrill) messages with model-ranked products
- Reach shoppers via WhatsApp or SMS (Twilio)
- Route conversions through Flexsee Quick Pay hosted checkout instead of only your store PDP
You can also start a flow from Products (launch wizard for a catalog item) or Dashboard action items when data is ready.
Prerequisites
- Shopify connected and synced — Shopify integration guide
- Enough behavioural data for predictions (the wizard shows readiness after sync)
- Destination-specific setup:
- Meta Ads connected for paid social
- Klaviyo or Mailchimp for email
- Stripe Connect for Quick Pay checkout destinations
- Twilio connected under Integrations → Email & SMS for WhatsApp/SMS
Wizard steps
| Step | What you do |
|---|---|
| Data source | Choose Shopify (WooCommerce is planned) |
| Connect and sync | Confirm the store connection and initial sync |
| Readiness | Wait until Flexsee has enough events to unlock predictions |
| Destination | Pick Meta Ads, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or WhatsApp/SMS |
| Targeting | Select a product and predictive audience segment for that product |
| Destination setup | Configure channel-specific options (budget, flow, template, checkout route, etc.) |
| Activate | Review and launch the flow |
Draft flows are saved automatically. Open Wizard Flow in the sidebar to resume drafts or review live flows.
Create a new flow
- Go to Wizard Flow → Create flow (or
/wizard-flow/create). - Complete data source, sync, and readiness steps.
- On Destination, choose where predictions should deploy.
- On Targeting, pick a product from your synced catalog and an audience segment (for example highest-intent buyers or a lookalike seed).
- On Destination setup, finish branch-specific configuration (see below).
- On Activate, confirm and launch.
After activation, open the flow detail page to see status, tracking, and performance links. Use Campaigns to compare results across channels.
Destination branches
Meta Ads
- Retargeting — uploads a Custom Audience of predicted high-intent buyers for the selected product.
- Prospecting — uploads a seed audience, then creates a lookalike audience (requires at least 100 users in the seed). Choose lookalike size (1%, 2%, or 5%) and country (GB, US, CA, AU).
- Set campaign name, budget, creative copy, and destination URL.
- Checkout route: send traffic to your store product page or a Flexsee Quick Pay page (requires Stripe Connect).
- Optionally Publish advert after the audience is created (requires a Meta Pixel — see Meta Ads guide).
Full Meta setup and troubleshooting: Meta Ads integration.
Klaviyo email
- Create a Klaviyo flow triggered by the Flexsee Campaign Send metric — Email campaign setup.
- In the wizard, select that flow, subject line, and products per recipient.
- Activate to send Track events; Klaviyo delivers personalised emails.
Mailchimp Transactional
- Connect Mandrill under Integrations → Email & SMS — Mailchimp guide.
- In the wizard, pick a Mailchimp template (or fallback HTML) and audience options.
- Ensure your template includes the Flexsee Handlebars block for
flexsee_recommendations.
WhatsApp or SMS (Twilio)
- Connect Twilio under Integrations → Email & SMS.
- Configure sender number or messaging service and content template in the wizard branch.
- Activate when your Twilio sender is approved for production traffic.
Quick Pay checkout (Meta and other conversion paths)
When Meta (or offer configuration) uses Flexsee Quick Pay:
- Complete Stripe Connect.
- In destination setup, choose Flexsee Quick Pay as the checkout route.
- Flexsee provisions a hosted page at
/pay/<slug>for the flow. - Customise branding and payment methods under Settings → QuickPay Links.
After launch
- Campaigns — attributed revenue, ROAS, conversion rate, and per-campaign rows (Campaigns & attribution).
- Wizard Flow list — draft vs live flows, edit, or delete.
- Customers / Products — intelligence, journeys, and “launch wizard” shortcuts from catalog and profiles.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | What to check |
|---|---|
| Readiness never unlocks | Shopify sync, pixel/events, and order history; wait for more storefront activity |
| Destination greyed out | Connect the integration first (Meta, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Twilio, or Stripe for Quick Pay) |
| Lookalike disabled | Seed audience must have at least 100 users |
| Quick Pay unavailable | Stripe Connect onboarding complete and quick pay terms accepted |
| Meta Publish advert fails | Pixel linked to ad account; app in Live mode — Meta troubleshooting |
